Currently, I'm in Johor Bahru. What am I doing here? No reason, except to be with him on his birthday. :)

Happy Birthday Mommy!!
Blessed be! May you have a great great day ahead!
If it wasn't for today in 1952, I don't know what becomes of me now. I thank Gramma for you! =D
For all the years in my life, thanks for being there and be the mother. Most importantly, thanks for opening up to me and be my great friend. It may have seemed awkward at first, but hey~ we did well. Haha. I remember how you scolded me for being such a kid. o.O
Wish I'm home, but I think this is the fourth year I'm away for your birthday. Certainly remembered the first year being away again! Ahakz. The 'dumb' thing I did that time just to substitute for my absence.
This year, my stupidity will improve just a lil. But it gotta wait... *winks*

Paused Array.
As randomly as it came, it is gonna be paused with pure randomness
[or suddenness] as well. Ah, at least for awhile.
Partly because I am kinda drained out. Nothing actually went whoosh-ing by for the past few days. As a matter of fact, I was pretty busy with this and that for a lil while that I didn't even wanna do much thinking.
Another reason would be because I wanna blog of something else in between too!!
But up till today, I had had half a dozen of the quests. If you have noticed, I have chosen not to reply to the comments. Not because I don't appreciate the comments [so, keep it coming *winks*], but truly only because it isn't something I wanna debate about. Instead, it is only something I had been pondering about and felt like sharing [or rather questioning].
I've read the comments posted, and responded to comments which came directly through the instant messages. Many actually suspected that I am troubled. Maybe I am, maybe I ain't afterall.
All I'm saying is, it's just stuffs that I think about. Oh, c'mon. Don't you think too? =p
Anyhow, thank you all for the concern. Yet, I'm fine...at least maybe for now.
Be prepared for more of these to come along in the future aight? *winks*
Maybe another half a dozen of these will come rolling by some time soon.
And keep thinking, people. That's pretty much the only characteristic that [supposedly] differentiates us from mere animals.
So, great people think alot and question even more. *grins*
p/s:
Ever since I changed my cellphone, I don't really remember birthdays. At least not until someone comes along and reminds me. So, my apologies.
I am, though, trying my best-est to re-enter all you people's birthdays into the new phone, set with reminders. Bear with me ya. =)
So, anyway Happy Birthday to Melanie and Alvin Lay [my old housemate] who both turned 21 on July 1st, Ming Soon and Mabel who celebrated 21st and 20th birthday respectively on July 7th and 8th. Hope you guys had a blessed birthday! *cheers*
....Shhh, did I miss out anyone? ><

Delta...Set!
Good Lord. There goes my 3 weeks of holidays.
Here comes a new academic year.
Just like that, *snaps a finger* we're in the third year now. Delta year.
To be frank, I'm pretty lazy for classes right now. Considering the fact that I've not attended any for like a month plus. But this is normal.
Had always been, and will always still be. *grins*
Yet, I wonder why is it that even after 3 years in MMU, I'm still so reluctant to come back to campus after every break.
No matter how boring or unfruitful my breaks are, I still hate to end them.
Was it just plain lazy? I doubt so. [ Hah! =p ]
Through the crystal ball, I see myself doing something more productive for myself starting this new trimester, in terms of academia and enhancing my knowledge. *winks*
And with this, I wish that I would hold on to my words. That I would be 'retired' from joining/organizing activities that had my head swirled for the past 2 years. [Hehe, a little exaggeration though.] But I would still always be available for any helping hand needed though, especially for CARE. =)
In promises to achieve what I want to, sacrifices and focus must be made wisely. I've decided for this, and hence shall not let anything at all to come in my way. I've just said "no" to one offer I thought I would regret in later years, so I think I could say "no" to anything now! Hah!
We'll see to it, and I hope I will never fail myself. *winks*
But saying "no" ain't the hard part, focusing and achieving would be THE challenge. Well, since from now on I would have all the time in the world for my own, I am hopeful that things may take the perfect turn once again. I shall have my world in my hands once again. Muahaha.
Good Lord, I'm getting mad even before the challenge starts. =___=
Message of the day:
Happy Birthday, Kai Lun! Welcome to the world of the 20's. Hehe!
You've gotta admit we're good in giving you a surprise, huh? =D

Happy Birthday, Daddy!
To the man in my life! Cheers!
Thanks for being the dad you've always been. And sorry for the times I put on a looooooong face to your orders. For that sometimes, I really wish you would just trust for the fact that I know what I'm doing myself. Everytime I grunt, you would be quiet... Making me even more guilty for acting so. *grrrr*
But I'm truly thankful that you are just great in reverse-psychology attack. Hehe.
Ever since I was a little girl, you've pampered me well. I used to wait for the days, or nights, that you would be home. You work shifts and that makes me miss you even more. I so seldom see you, I wished you were always there whenever Mommy scolds. Hehe.
Oh, and I so loved the times that you would fetch me from school whenever you were not working. On the old motorbike, buying lunch and whatever on the ride home.
Did you know my friends always said you're one handsome dad?! Haha! And did you know how I floated on cloud nine?
The funniest incidents I am constantly reminded of by Mommy and all were definitely the times that I would cry, watching the news on television. Crying, while very much pleading for the newscaster, of whom I call 'Dad', to come out. Haha~~
Oh God, how dumb of the little me. Apparently the newscaster had moustache just like you, Dad. *brrrr* Creepy, I know.
The times you were home, you would humour me with your little jokes. Jokes that will send me rolling on the bed laughing so hard. Mommy would then scold me for laughing too hard, fearing that I would have nightmare later that night. But those times were the greatest, times I missed so so dearly.
Just a simple action you make the teddy bear do, and the memory sticks to this very day. And it still does put a smile on my face everytime I thought of it too! =D
Daddy..
Thank you for everything, every single little thing you've done and not done. Thanks for being the Daddy you are to me. Love ya!

My roomie! *winks* Happy Birthday, Li Ping!
I know it's still gonna be another stressful day, but I hope you enjoyed the lil celebration yesternight and the day to come.
And not to forget of course, to Alan. Happy Birthday, in advance! =D
Tomorrow would be his big day to turn 21.
And tomorrow will be an even more stressful to everybody. o.O
Anyhow, I'm sure it'll never get to Alan. Hehe. Right? *winks*
Happy 21, both of you~! Happy studying too~! ><
Yergh~ The whole post is full of the word. =_=
Oh oh...Yesterday while I was wiping something off the floor, I saw a mosquitoe dropping dead. o.O
I suspect it's the tension in the room that the lil fella couldn't endure.
THAT's for biting me! *nya-haha*
Aiks. Cruelty~ ><

A Quick One.
Yeap. Due to my laziness and selamba-ness in the study week, here's just a quick, short post to have my birthday wishes out to all my May-babis friends. =D [Spot the 'mistake'. Hehe.]
So, here's to... *drum rolls*
Catherine, who celebrated her birthday yesterday! 4th of May~
Pei Pei, whose birthday is tomorrow! 6th of May~
Both celebrating their 21st in Penang. *jealous* Hehe.
Welcome to young-adulthood, girls. *winks* [I'm new too. =p ]
My Cousin Min, who will be celebrating her birthday on the 7th of May.
Boon Kuok, who is turning 21st as well on the 9th of May.
Happy Birthday people!! Have a sweet sweet day. *winks*
Another two friends will be celebrating their birthdays next week. But wishes to them can wait. I'm sure I wouldn't forget. =D
Right up. Back to studying! Progress had been slow. *sobz*
It really feels alot less than what it used to be, especially back in Alpha.
Oh, God. Help! ><

Happy April Fool. Happy Birthday.
It's that time of the year again!! The time of the year when lame jokes are legal.
I so definitely will always and forever remember the lil lame jokes we used to put on each other back in primary.
Even the simplest, "Oh my God! There's a lion behind you!!" will get one fella jumping like mad. Haha. And the joy we had. ^^ The naive kids.
The best practical jokes played on me by far has to be by one of my Standard Five teachers. She's the best, I'm telling you. Scare the heck outta us. =(
You see, we really like this teacher. She's fun and nice.
So imagine the big shock we had when she told us that one of us in the class actually went to the Headmistress office and made a pretty serious complaint on her. The complaint was fine, but the part in which she said she had to resign due to THE complaint was seriously not fine!!
Hrmph! Why did we even fall for it?!
Oh! Coming to MMU, I actually met this one fella who's the biggest lame joker on Earth. ^^ [Take it as a compliment, friend. And it is.]
Haha. Some must be wondering how it can be a compliment. Well, jokers make you laugh. =D Smile, at the very very least.
Aren't ya proud of yourself to make us laugh 9.5/10 times?
So, Happy Birthday Ang! You've proven yourself to be a true April Fool child. =D

Happy Weekend. Happy Birthday.
What a long, long week again with long, long hours of classes.
[Yay for me, I'm attending classes again~]
Another yay for me, I screwed up two midterm papers too.
All in a week. Right after midterm break. *sighs*
Let's have a happy weekend~ *winks* Keep planning, Elaine! Keep thinking!
Message of the day:
It's after midnight already. ^^
To the twins, Rashad and Razin. Happy 21st birthday!!
Donkeey, you're finally 21~!!
And no, you're no man yet. It is not proven through your moustache or beard or even a 'manly' voice. =.=
Those attributes [if you're 'lucky'], you might even find it in a female too. *rofl*
Maybe soon lar har, soon that I'll regard you as a 'man'. Keep growing. Hehe. =p

Shocking Results.
Whoa! Who would have expected?!
Had been on catching up with the news of the polling results since 8pm. And the results are well unexpectedly shocking, I'd say.
Who would have thought Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon would lose his seat?! [Er, maybe some of you do, but not me. =p ]
I don't know exactly what to feel. I'm pretty enthusiasted about the result and all. But seriously, I have never expected something like this.
Not only is Penang lost to the opposition, many other states are also facing critical result moments now.
I'm seriously wondering who our new Chief Minister would be anyway. What would the 'new' Penang be? Should I be happy or worried?
Many seem to be excited about it. Part of me does too. Hehe.
But whatever it is, let's just pray for the best for the nation and us, Penangites. *winks*
Message of the day:
Happy 21st Birthday, Yamunah!!!
So sorry I could not attend your party. Really wished to be there, but the timing just ain't the best for me. *sobs* Missed the warmth of your family though.
Well, I guess I'd see you in Penang. Will definitely celebrate again with you, just as promised!
Have a great birthday and may God bless you, sweet child~

Birthday Marathon.
Wow. Is it a good month for birthdays?
Lemme recap and place my wishes for all the birthday-boys and -girls.
On the 20th, we have Wei Loon celebrating his 20th birthday.
On the 21st, we have Soon Ming and Jou Chean celebrating their 21st birthday.
And on the 22nd, we have Wei Jie celebrating his 22nd birthday.
Hehe. This is just to lamely point out that their birthdates are kinda indicating their ages respectively this year.
I believed I mentioned this in my last post. But in this post, another is added in to join the 'lame' group. =p
Right. Then continuing on, we have Jon Yap to wish 'Happy Birthday' to as well on the 22nd. On the day which he is celebrating his 23rd birthday!
And in advance, Happy Birthday to Shou Pin celebrating his birthday on the 25th.

First Timer Mahjong.
Wow. I actually won RM2 from the mahjong game. Haha.
Kel Mynn vividly remembers me saying before that I would not play mahjong, nor will I learn it.
But here I am, teaming up with Juin Hau and won Alvin's RM4.
Pardon me, Kel Mynn. I now know why they said mahjong can be real addictive. Hehe.
And thanks, Juin Hau, for the quick lesson.
Today, we celebrated for Wei Loon and Soon Ming together at the Hakka Village in Serdang.
Check out the cakes we bought for them. Cute? Haha.
And then at 12am, apparently Soon Keat planned some surprise for his brother.
The plan? To attack Soon Ming with water plus flour.
Haha. You should have seen us [observers] run the hell outta there.
And the noise we made.
Then sadly, some neighbor was so pissed off that he went over to the security. And so, the fun had to stop.
But seriously, what could they really do? Hmm.
Of course, I am not saying that we are not at fault. We are.
But pardon us for that five minutes, how about that?
Well, anyhow, Happy Birthday Wei Loon (20 February) and Soon Ming (21 February) ~
Welcome to the world of early 20s. ^^
[I just kinda lamely realise that their birthdates suit their ages respectively. Cool. Haha.]
Hope you guys enjoyed it, and also to enjoy the celebration tomorrow night.
I'm still pondering if I wanna go. =.=

A Long Sunday Afternoon.
And night too. *yawn*
I just came back from JACTIM's preparations. No, I'm not in JACTIM Career Fair.
Let's just say, I am abit busy-body larh o.
Haha. Well not exactly, it was actually Juin Hau who asked me to follow on his trip to get the event's t-shirt somewhere in KL.
Damn far. At first I heard Serdang, so I was pretty surprised when he took the highway to KL. =.=
Darn tired right now as I woke up damn early today, having to meet up with the two ladies at 9am.
The gathering was really meant to celebrate Kuan Gaik's birthday since I thought she would be alone, and she would definitely be devastated is she's alone on this day.
Weird things keep happening.
First, some 'unknown' fella joined the girls-outing.
And, the 'unknown' fella was never properly introduced, and we sorta found it the shocking way. Harsh way.
Then, instead of shopping or movie, we went to PetroSains.
It was still pretty funny how we all actually agreed to. But seriously, it was kinda fun. And we kinda acted kiddish too. =.=
Pardon us, but we were at a place which was really meant for kids.
That's why we can exactly hold back the kids in us. Right? Hehe. Be free, my child, be free~~
The only down part about this trip was the fact that I could not leave at 4pm, or at least 5pm. We were sorta hooked and was not able to finish the trip around the PetroSains so soon. So, it ended up that we left the place at around 7pm.
The DJ competition isn't really the reason for me to rush back to Cyberjaya. But, my concern is really the trip in ERL, alone.
Hence, I guess I had kinda rushed and sped up my pace. But still, I don't think it meant I never wanted to come out on this trip. Why, isn't it obvious?
Anyway, thank God I met Chee Wai at the LRT station. So, I ain't alone afterall. ^^
Pity the fella, got teased by me non-stop. I can't recall how it actually started though as I don't exactly talk so much to him before. =.=
And definitely, not to forget Juin Hau again. Thanks for fetching us from the Putra station. =D
Time to catch some sleep. I'm like a walking-zombie already.
It had been a long day, and it is going to be a long day tomorrow. A long week ahead indeed.
I'm pretty bored of myself saying this already. The 'long day, long week' talk. *sigh*
When will this stop?

Valentine's Day.
Or a.k.a. Singles Awareness Day (SAD). Haha.
You know, even when I was young, Valentines had meant to be a day to commemorate a lover's love.
I thought I had mistaken the true meaning of Valentines too.
Back in school, teachers used to say, "Valentine's Day is not a special day only for lovers. This is a day you should show your love to your family and your friends, your loved ones."
It's sweet. Doubtlessly. And I still believe my family will always be my loved ones.
But is it just truer that the meaning of Valentine's had been, what I would call, modernized?
Haha. Think about it.
p/s: I got this flower from an anonymous. Haha. Seriously, don't you think you're wasting money buying the flower, yet not daring enough to own up to it? Well, I think it is.
Anyhow, thanks for the flower. It's really sweet of you, whoever you are. =)
And Happy Birthday to Wee Vian. Nice day for a birthday, huh? *winks*

Sick Again.
Suddenly, I am sickness-prone. Does it even make sense to you?
*sigh* Here I go again.
Down with flu + sorethroat + slight fever.
I'm feeling so heaty that I can feel my eyes and nose sore with the burning-like sensation.
Not to mention the goosebumps that I constantly get.
It's so weird that I'm complaining that it is too cold, when everyone else is cursing the hot weather. ><
of illness. *whoosh*
Well, whatever it is, this is definitely my post-CNY effect.
Added on with one long day full-packed with classes, it is even more tiring.
That was why I skipped 2 classes today, just to sleep to my heart's content. ^^
Tomorrow is going to be just another long day. And tonight is going to be a long night too.
Good luck to those gambling outside my living room. And good night to me. =D
Message of the day:
Hmm, I'm suddenly wondering. If everyone out there is in good luck, who is going to lose the money?

Chinese New Year ‘Balik Kampung’.
Why am I still here?
Reasons are that I had home visits to attend to on Saturday and I shall be following my Bro home.
No, no blames on anything.
Yes, REAL Bro. Flesh and blood. =p
Oh, thank God tomorrow is the day already. I almost can’t wait no more.
Cyberjaya is so totally as dead as it is always described to be already. Everyone is back to hometown as early as last Friday.
*sigh* Last year’s CNY was never near to be like this. It was a semester break, so we actually had a longer holiday for CNY celebration.
Enough time to prepare for the CNY, and enough time to enjoy the CNY before back-to-school.
Sadly this year, new semester started one week before CNY.
But then again, many still did not come back. God, am I jealous or what? ><
Hehe. Well, obviously I wouldn’t have been back for this one week is it hadn’t been for the some responsibilities. [No, it didn’t mean I’m complaining that I have sacrificed. =.= ]
Anyway, I’ve just finished playing ‘Battleship’ with Alex, crashing in Karen’s room.
Yeap, finally we found the time and chance to play the game. =.= It had been said since the last year.
Well, Alex was lucky larh this time. He won the game 3-2. And I was sleepy already. Muahaha. So, it is reasonable that I lost. *blek*
I shall redeem my loss one day soon. You wait. =p
Tomorrow, Karen would be accompanying me to shop before I meet Bro. [Though seriously, I have no idea what else I wanna buy.]
Bingo, we’re skipping class. *winks*
But then again, I THINK most classes are cancelled already. ^^ So, we aren’t that bad, skipping that not-so-many classes afterall. Hehe.
Balik kampung...oh oh oh, balik kampung...
Hati riang ~~~
p/s: It’s gonna be real busy days ahead. So, just in case.
Happy Chinese New Year, people!! *winks*
And also Happy Birthday, Chia Li! =D

Home Visits.
You know, I've always wanted to do some social work kinda thingy. But never really got the chance to.
Today, I had the chance to participate in visits to TWO charity homes in one day. ^^
In the morning, we headed to the home for the disabled in Petaling Jaya. And then in the evening, we headed down to the old folks' home in Kajang.
Basically, we just helped around cleaning both houses.
Due to the short time allocated for the morning visit, we could only managed to clean the house and had no time to interact with the residents there.
But they seemed to be sweet people. I saw some kids in the the living room, watching cartoons on TV. They seemed just like any other ordinary kids.
Hopefully next time around we could get to know them better. ;)
The old folks' home visit, on the other hand, started off with cleaning. The house was particularly clean, so not much cleaning was needed.
After the cleaning, it was dinner time! Vegetarian food is good, for both the kong kong por por and also us. ;)
We all sat and talked while eating. At first, I felt particular guilt to the four Malay girls who joined in our trip, as all the grandpas and grandmas in the home were Chinese. And most of them speak in Chinese too.
But then, they were really nice and didn't complain.
I only saw them talking to one grandpa who spoke in English during dinnertime. That grandpa is one really cute fella.
Well you see, after eating, we had some get-along activities.
This grandpa was singing 'Baa baa, black sheep' as he dances, social dance. Hehe.
We went back around 9pm, I think. One of reasons was that we didn't want to disturb them to rest. Also, we were running out of ideas to entertain them. Haha.
*sigh* We were already in Kajang. Yet, we didn't get to makan the Kajang satay.
Well~ I feel really contented today alright. ^^
Plus, I made some new friends. =D
p/s: Happy belated-one-day Birthday, Heng Yin! =D
I don't know if you got my message. Bet you were real busy, eh? Hehe. Glad you're okay. Hope you enjoyed the day. *winks*

'Lou Sang'.
Toss toss toss~~~
So embarassed.
Got too excited that I accidentally tossed one piece of the 'salmon' fish and a tiny portion of the 'yee sang' at a very wrong angle of direction, straight on to the table. Wasted.
But hey, what's 'lou sang' if you don't have it all scattered around the table right? Hehe.
For those who might not know, 'lou sang' is this tradition that the Chinese practice during the Lunar New Year celebrations.
Family and friends would usually gather together and have a toss on the 'yee sang' together, right before a meal together.
'Yee sang' is the dish which includes fresh salmon, few kinds of shredded vegetables like white radish and carrot, red chilli, young ginger, crispy 'yao char kwai' or crispy crackers and then added with a special kind of sauce. Then, one red 'ang pow' packet which contains 5 kinds of spices is opened and added in.
'Lou sang' on the other hand meant the act of mixing all the 'yee sang' ingredients together.
As you toss, you should say some auspicious greetings or wishes.
This is to usher in prosperity, longevity, good luck and health in the coming lunar new year.
Sounds cool, eh?
Here, I found one recipe for anyone of you who might love to have some home-made 'yee sang' for the reunion dinner.
Have fun tossing your 'yee sang' this new year!
Remember to toss it high up~~ *winks*

Home Alone.
It’s been 3 days. And I thought it would be...I dunno, fun? Well, at least for a little while. *shrugs*
Guess I was wrong. Pretty wrong indeed.
Dad’s working. Sister’s working. Nothing unusual. But where is Mom?
Mom is helping out at Aunt’s place. What kinda help? Good question.
It probably ain’t something my Mom enjoys most, but it is anyhow what she had been doing for a long time. And by ‘long time’, I do mean years long.
My aunt opens a confinement centre. She had been having problems finding people for the job. So months back, she called my Mom and asked her for help. At first, it was only for a few days.
And I was one who supported the idea considering that my Mom is so bored staying home alone everyday.
But now....
It’s like as if my Mom is working permanent at the centre. And I’m beginning to dislike it. Not only has it left me home alone, it is also taking up the quality time for me and my Mom. *sigh* Boredom.
More importantly, I don’t see my Mom enjoys this anymore. Well, for one, it is so tiring. Imagine taking care of NINE babies at one time. And that is not even the maximum number yet.
Yes, of course, there are other workers around but you wouldn’t wanna know how many workers they only have. *sweatness*
Anyway, my Mom said she’ll only work on every Monday to Wednesday.
Should I be happy hearing this? I doubt so.
I find myself really non-productive these couple of days. All day I have only been watching drama. I only work when I have to.
I had plans to leave my house, yes. But something always comes up. Same ol’ things. And I end up sticking my eyes on the TV set. =P
I miss my Mom nagging me. Haha. Problem is she still does. She would come home and find me lazing around. That pisses her off alright. And so, there goes her ticking bomb. Timing ain’t good. XD
Tomorrow is a public holiday. Or something like that, I believe. We’re heading to our house in Farlim to clean-up. But we are not moving in. Still wondering what are we gonna do there tomorrow. Hmm. *shrugs*
It’s still way better than staying home alone. =D
Oh, by the way, I know I have said this to you. And I know this is one day late here. But, I just want to say this to you here. Officially. =P
Happy Birthday Juin Hau! We’re finally 21! ;)
