Addio, Parte Uno.

Finally the nightmare is over. Though it is only of part one, but still I could catch a few couple of well-rested nights before it begins again. Or more so of continuing.

Yups, I'm done with my FYP Presentation [Parte Uno]. Needless to say, I was mumble-jumbling possibly the whole way through. It's bad. I know I could have done better. But words just fly by that very moment and you suddenly realize how shallow your vocabulary is! Not to mention the lack of confidence in my work and results. And the lack of supporting "facts"! O-m-i-g-a-w-d.

See the problem? I saw that long ago. Still working on it. If only MMU had been more co-operative and gives us access to more online journals! That'd help alot more.
YES! I need help here. If you're reading this and your university [or any institution] could download online journals and e-books from science websites like IOP.org, SpringerLink, IngentaConnect, CAT.INIST and Wiley InterScience. Oh, that is JUST to name a few! So, anyone at all, please let me know if you have the access ID. Love you lots. =D

Eff Is The Word.

I don't care. I dont care if it's rude. I don't care nuts about what you think. I am eff-ing pissed off. Today is NOT my day. Nothing seemed to go my way. It's my Black Friday. Not wearing black [unusually] doesn't help a damn bit. It's eff-ing black inside out!

How could I be so eff-ing unlucky? 818/825?! You gotta be kidding me! Just because of one eff-ing dumb question, I have to waste an eff-ing 1k bucks to go thru the eff-ing process again! Seriously...what the eff? This is unbelievably eff-ing dumb! Argh! I'm on the verge of losing my cool [which I believe I had just lost =.="]. Daym.

It's fine if that is all. But nooooo. There has to be more. I just wanted to have a good dinner to shoo it all away and continue keeping my eff-ing coolness. But noooo. The eff-ing dumbness continues. I had to happened to be wearing my sandals when I had to eff-ing knock my big toe to the eff-ing sharp edge of the eff-ing table. Hurts like, eff-ing mad! Bleeds like nobody's eff-ing business. Grrr~! And the food wasn't really that good anyway! Even a McFlurry which I totally believed could NEVER go wrong went wrong! What the eff!!

I thought I was gonna cry but I laughed. As angry and frenzied that I was, it couldn't bother me more than the fact that I was gonna lose money [and some skin, for that matter]. Through it all, I'm glad I had company. An eff-ing good one, I might say? =)
Thanks for being there and made me laugh, Bii. For what it's worth, it's only money [and some skin, for that matter, again]. It may be quite an expensive lesson but I'm hopeful it'll be a good one.

My lecturer said these to me us, "You gotta feel pissed off and so eff-ed up now in order to thrive further ahead. The chance to put these all into action will be soon."
Well, it ain't his exact words. But that's what he meant. So yeah, I'm all so eff-ed up. *evil grins*

YouTube Addiction.

I know I'm supposed to be studying hard. But I just couldn't help that I'm addicted to ♫♬ gee gee gee gee currently. The song is so stuck in my head and YouTube's the place I stream for it. One thing lead to another and *walla* I found this super duper funny clip.

It made us laughed uncontrollably that the terms 'LOL' and 'LMAO' sound fit. If you've seen my last post, you'd see the big difference. If you know who're the Super Juniors, you'd probably be dumbstruck by the end of the clip. As for me, I have gone kablooey over the guy in the red cheongsam. I have yet learn his name, but does that really matter? [Rhetorical question! No answer, please.]

They are so adorable! So, I did a little more research on the origin of this clip and *walla* I found the full length video with English subtitle! Well, it ain't really the full video but this'll do. I just hope that the subtitles are correctly interpreted. One thing for sure though was that I have learnt a new word. A new Korean word.
BABO~! No no no no no...hah! [Emphasis on the hand.]

Haha. Watch to find out. *winks*

Hope you'd enjoyed it as much as we did. Love!

Mash It Up Good.

They call this a remix. But its creator says its a mashup. Well, it's not like I'm anywhere near being the music expert [I can't even differentiate genres!], but as far as vocabulary is concerned, 'mashup' is the word. Uncle Google can well explain it for you too. =)

I've never been quite a fan to remixes, or any mashups for that matter. But this is superb. Repeating words of Adam C from Hitz.fm, this man is a genius!
The mixing is done so beautifully, it sounds pretty cool. Bii says it's because 'Boom Boom Pow' is used as the base of the song. To which I find it to be very true. I tried listening to another mashup DJ Earworm did on 2008 - I don't like it.

Oh, and did you know the lyrics from this mashup meant something like a real song do too? Haha, apparently that's what mashups should be. I didn't know it, and I was amazed by my discovery at first. *blushes* Now that I know, I felt so silly myself. Haha.

And for the whole evening today, we were both listening to this particular song below. It was after the disappointment of expecting good dance from 'Jay Sean - Down' MV that he wanted to show me another MV. Little did we know, we had the same song in mind. How pleasing. Hehe. *smiles shyly*

So, anyway, this is what I was singing along the few lines I know for the whole night. You should really check out the dance version. And their bodies. And their legs. Okay, I'm sounding creepy now. Haha. I'm jealous! Oh, you enjoy the MV. *shoo away*

Home-Cook Sunday.

And so it's the last day of the week. This is seriously bad. When will I stop holidaying and start getting my working mode on? *sighs*

Yesterday, three of us got all so hyped up when grocery shopping that we purchased ingredients for cook-out today. For morning, we were gonna have pancakes. Save up lunch [for we know the breakfast intended will eventually turn out to be lunch anyway] and we will cook some easy dishes for dinner. Fried fish, black pepper chicken and veggies. That was the initial plan.

Come Sunday and we woke up pretty early. By 11, we've got our pancakes ready. Pat on our shoulders for cooking an awesome, delicious, lips-smacking breakfast! *cheers* It's actually pretty easy anyway with the ready-made flour that we bought. Haha. All we had to do was add water to it. But as easy as it sounds, don't underestimate us the process. *winks*

It's been a while since I last made pancakes. The last time was my first time making pancakes and that's like almost 2 years back, if I have not mistaken. But rusty sure I am not! Check out the first piece we made. Looks pretty good, huh? *grins*
You know you love it~
Honest opinion, do you not agree that it looks just like the ones from Paddington House of Pancakes? Hohoho~

Plain pancakes taste just too flat. So, out to save the day is our Hershey's chocolate syrup. Mm mmm, good. Blogging about it right now makes me hungry for more chocolate! Nothing beats a good breakfast!

[I lurve this photo!]

So, we were talking and then decided it's a breakfast too early to make us skip lunch for the day. We doubt the pancakes could last us till dinnertime anyway. Yes, doubtlessly we rested for about an hour and proceeded to cooking for lunch. Those two pigs went to bed in between. Gosh~! Sleep, eat, sleep again! 'Nuff said. *shakes head*

Lunch was a bigger headache. First, my dearest smart Chee Wei didn't look out for the fire as the potatoes and eggs were put to boil. Thus, the potatoes became too soft [though still usable] for our salad. Nonetheless, he should be hella thankful that the house wasn't burnt down in the process! Sheesh!

Then, we got excess potatoes and we ran out of mayonaisse. The black pepper sauce made our dish of chicken tasted weird. The oyster mushroom tasted like some kinda Chinese noodles [according to Yam]. And the french beans were supposed to be deep fried but we didn't have the right wok for it. The fish was fine, but it was served looking so squashed and distorted as we didn't have a plate wide enough to accommodate it.

Yeap, the only perfectly good tasting dish is indeed the potato salad prepared by yours truly......'s dearest. It is anyhow his signature dish. Haha. Yummy!

What you see above was half of what we were supposed to cook for a meal. But we halved everything as we thought we wanted to do it again later for dinner. But guess what. Haha. I'm sure you guessed it right anyway.

Yes, we are going out for dinner. In like 30 minutes. No, we did not give up cooking [yet]. It's just that we have a sudden craving for tom yam and decided to cure it. You gotta pamper your stomach once in awhile, right? *pats tummy*

Saturday Lunch.

I've been back to Cyberjaya for 2 days now and what have I done? It's fair to say 'Nothing'!

Oh yes, there is this one thing that I have done alot of times since I am back and that is, using the washing machine. Yam and I had been taking turns working the machine up. And probably down.
We're wondering when the machine would get fed up of us and shout back. Hehe. Just please don't go on strike, okay?
I love you, washing machine. You're a great creation to have and I want you to know that! *blinks innocently*

Earlier this afternoon, we went to Semenyih with Yam's brother's family to have 'ikan panggang' for lunch. First time meeting Rishyen boy [Yam's nephew] and he is super adorable. Just like expected, seeing from his photos. Oh, if only Yam brought a bigger bag we would have kidnapped him back!

[I had a feeling he was very wary of me. Possibly afraid that I'd kidnap him.]

Anyway the lunch was superb. Eight of us there, we ordered 8 fishes with 2 mutton dishes and a veggie. That's super duper alot! The place's near the Broga Hills. Reminds me of all the photos uploaded from Facebookers hiking and the sunrise. One day in the near future I think I'm gonna hike up there and see what it's like for myself too.

[We almost ordered everything there was in the menu!]

This eatery is just a shabby old house located at the end of the road [literally]. It was actually named the 'Pusat Memancing' [Fishing centre] but I see noone with any rods at the ponds. The fishes are cooked on top of an old-fashioned charcoal grill. That and the freshness of the fish itself - delightful.

One thing though was that by the 4th [or probably 5th] fish was served, we thought it all tasted the same already. Amelia got tired photographing the same-looking dishes too. The 'Asam Pedas' tasted about the same as 'Tom Yam' and the 'Kicap' tasted about the same as 'Mushroom sauce'. The only thing different is probably the fish grilled, there are 2 types - bigger sized and smaller sized. Tasty, nonetheless. 'Nuff said. =)

*all photos are credits of Amelia with her Samsung Omnia II*

With the long bill [not that we had one in black and white], it's surprising that everything only sums up to RM192. I think it's cheap. But the thought of having the one-to-two-hour-drive to the place for a meal just puts me off. Unless I'm in a mood for a getaway. =)

p/s:
The cities outside in this region of the country is pretty unsafe for now, so to speak. Just to be fair, people should understand that this isn't the case in every part of the country, nor is it the case to everyone. So, anyway, just be safe alright? Blessed be. Peace out!

Warmest Thank Yous To All~!

Morning peepz! Will hop on the bus to be back to the cruel reality world of Cyberjaya soon around mid-noon. But before that, I'd like to take this little time I have to say a huge THANK YOU! to all who remembered and wished me all day thru yesterday! =)

You guys are the reason I went to bed and woke up smiling!

Thank you Daddy, Mummy, Bro, Sis and Bii! Thanks for your presence and presents. Love!

Thank you, early-wishers! Thank you to each and every heart-felt wishing on Facebook! It doesn't matter even if it's a belated one. It's the heart that counts, right! Facebook is the way of life huh now? Hehe. Love!
Ohhh, I really wanted to mention all your names here, each and everyone of you. But there's just too many. Again, it's the heart that counts right? Right! Haha. I promise I thanked you personally on FB though. Love!
Oh and then p/s, even Barn Buddy sent me a virtual cake to celebrate. Haha, how sweet. Love!

Then there's the warm SMS-es. Glad to see some still stick to this mode of communication. Hehe. Thank you all~! Even my dental clinic wished me. That is so sweet! See why I entrust my teeth only to them? Hehe. Love!

Thank you, Rashad, for forgetting. Haha! I know who reminded you. Thank you for calling, Shad and Regina! Very, very sweet of you both. And yes Shad, I saw what you wrote on your MSN status message as well. Thank you! Love!

Goodness, I love birthdays. Haha. Not only my own, but all birthdays! =) No matter what I made myself think in the last year, I love birthdays! How could I be fooled by my own?

Now, I'm gonna wanna spend more time offline. I'm gonna miss home. *sobz*

Happy Birthday, eLaiNe~!

Happy birthday to me!
Happy birthday to me!
Happy birthday to me, me!!
Happy birthday to me!

I love the day! Wow-wee! And Sis came back just in time before 12 to join in another round of cake-blowing ceremony for me. Love!

My babe, he bought me an ice-cream cake I've always craved for. Specifically the one that I had been keeping my drool for. *drools* So sweet of him! Love!

Here's a peek. Update tomorrow when I've uploaded the rest of the pictures from the phone. Love!

The first round was on Sunday when Sis bought me a cake in advance when she doubted that she could be back early from work to celebrate with me. Well, she was right. But it doesn't matter anyway. What really matters is her love. How sweet. Love!

Check out the cute cake I got! Yummy. I insisted on a cute one. ^^ Thanks, Sis. Love ya! So great that she got me our fav cake, the chocolate cake! Love!

Yesterday he took me out for a movie, but there isn't much choice. So we settled for this. All because I saw these names in the cast line-up: Johnny Depp, Jude Law and the not-to-be-forgotten Heath Ledger.
We were super tired when we got to the cinema, sleepy and all, thanks to waking up early that morning. And then the twisty fantastical storyline doesn't help make relaxing easy for us either. Well, it wasn't a bad movie anyway. It's just that I'd need another time watching it before I can tell what happened at the end of it. *frowns*

When it's officially 6th January, birthday wishes kept pouring in. Love! I went to bed smiling yesternight. And I woke up early this morning with yet a smile upon my face! I wondered if I smiled in my sleep the whole night thru. Haha! Love, love, love!

Guess what I had for breakfast. =)

Specially for me. Mummy gave me two eggs while everyone else had only one. I feel pampered! *laughs* Love!

We went out awhile after that. Chilling around Queensbay mall. I didn't even have the mood to shop, but I'm enjoying every bit of it. He took me to have a little snack [since we had late brunch]. Our favourite! Our loves! Haagen Dazs. ^^v

It's some dessert which I have forgotten its name. But I'd believe it's something named Brownie Explosion. Haha! Explosion it is alright. It was so full of chocolate, I felt so even more fuller at the end of it. Yet, it's still a L-O-V-E! Worth every single penny paid. =)

Next stop, the arcade! It's been quite some time since I last played these. Love! And I beat him in Daytona! Fuh! *proud* Though I wasn't that good being Rambo, I fared pretty awesome. Don't mess with the 23-year-old. *laughs*

For dinner, the treat is on Daddy. And all I wanted is Western food. If I wanted Chinese on this day, I'd ask my Mummy to cook for me. Nothing beats my Mummy's cooking. And then again, nothing also beats a cheap Western food for a birthday dinner. Love!

Oh my God. I'm so excited just talking about my day. I don't even feel like a 23 year old now. Haha! Such a kid that I am. Nobody can stop me from feeling so. ^^ Look at my entry, I couldn't even blog with perfect lines of words. Everything is all about love. And in love, I am!

I love you, Daddy!
I love you, Mummy!
I love you, my Brother!
I love you, my Sister!
And I so love you, Dear Bii!

Thank you all for everything. For the great day. For the happy memories I cherish. For the sweetest time to start my year with.
Had I not mention how much I appreciate how you guys made me who I am today? =) Well, you know now. Love, love, love you all. *hugs and kisses*

I guess the only difficult and un-fun thing I had to do today was to purchase the bus ticket back to Kay-El tomorrow. I am reluctant! But I had to. I am, afterall, grown up. Ain't I? LOL~!

Massive Freak Pains.

Woke up with a slight tummy ache early in the morning yesterday and it stayed uninvited for as long as it please. Yes, it's still around to annoy me. It ain't the gastric I used to have. It's just wind moving around, trapped in my upper abdomen. I could feel it moving around in my tummy, but why couldn't it find its way out? There're two exits anyway. Tee-hee~

Through the day, I didn't have the appetite to eat at all. I only ate a few spoonfuls of rice with lotsa gravy to go with it. I think my stomach was going on a vegetarian diet yesterday for I felt like vomiting when I ate meat. Even if it's my favourite Hainan chicken rice. How sad. =(

The sun in Penang shines so brightly and it's ray of heat just beams right through your skin. It burns! Spending the day around town could be fun, but just makes my condition worse. Because at the end of the day, my head hurts as well. Lagilah I don't have the appetite to eat. All I wanted was just lie down and do nothing. Massive headache wins over the massive movement of wind in the stomach.

Freaky, freaky. Because after all that had happened, I still feel happy and contented. Despite the pains, I enjoyed the day pretty much! =) Especially when I get pampered over the night.
Through it all I'm grateful I got all the freak pains while I'm still home in Penang and that he's there with me, by my side. Oh, the blissful life. ^^ I like!

Wish I could stay longer but I just couldn't. I hadn't been working my ass off like I planned to, and it's baaaaaad. Really bad. I'm reluctant to buy the one-way-ticket back to Kay-El. Help! =(

Farewell, My Hedgies.

When I said I don't wanna bring stuffs that had happened in the last year into this new one, I didn't mean this! I didn't mean this! I really, really didn't mean this.

I know I hadn't been the greatest owner but this just got me graded as the worst owner EVER! I wasn't there for them, and this is all my fault. I'm so sorry, baby hedgies. It's my fault. I never should have left you guys without us. I should have insisted on bringing you along. I'm sorry. We're sorry.

"If only" should not be uttered, for shoulda, woulda, coulda are the last words of a fool. This fool here had had the whole day to let the reality sink in. Thank you, Bii, for trying to keep this from me until today. I appreciate your goodwill.

I miss you guys. =(

Happy New Year 2010~!

Happy, happy New Year 2010~!

Today signifies a new day, new beginning of a new decade. Gotta love it~! At the strike of twelve, the new leaf is budding. At the first ray of sunshine, this new leaf is turning green.

First day of a new year calls for a New Year resolution. And yes, I have just three in exact three words. I call it the 3R. Haha. Sounds kinda lame, even to myself. It's as if it's some kinda recycling tagline or the TV show aired some years ago. [Is the show still on?]

So anyway, as lame as it can be, this is it. It's time, and I've made up my mind for the better. It's time to move up and fore on. All these years, resolutions are either made and forgotten or not made at all. Haha. Such poor thing. Human nature, we call it. Though I couldn't say for sure I will fully accomplish my 3R in every aspect of my everyday life for the whole year to come, you can bet that I would put my fullest commitment to persevere.

For starters, my 3R would be applied to my attitude towards blogging. It's time to repent and stop leaving my blog so lonely collecting dusts. It doesn't matter anymore what I used to need from my blog, how I need it to look like, etc etc etc. Yada yada yada. I've wasted so much time working on it, and everything keep piling up. That's why it's time to revive my beloved ranting spot. Poor little baby. Oh, did you know, she's THREE! [erm, what a coincident!] Yup. Today's her birthday alright! :)
Mama Elaine promise that I'll be responsible, okay? No more like what I did when you're two. Hehe. Pinky promise, okay? *smooch smooch*

What do you usually do on a New Year's day? Besides making resolutions, that is. *winks* My Mommy always say that everyday is just another day, it's special if you make it to be. While so, I have always thought that some days are more special than your everyday. I made myself to believe it so and I tend to expect more on these special days. Oh so tiring. =) You'd know what happen when you expect too much, it's not healthy. That is why I finally smack myself back into senses and I realize [of course, I never forgotten anyhow] that what matters most is still and will always be of that knowing that my family and all that I love are safe.

Spent the whole day at home just sitting lazily on my sofa, with him and my Momma while Daddy stays at his computer. Haha. Blissful~! Started watching a TVB drama and he got so hooked to it. Wow, thanks to my influence I couldn't even pull him away from the TV!

Lucky for us, we still get to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel later at night after a good Penang dinner. *grins* I'm loving it! I love the Chipmunks! I love my meal! I love Theodore! Haha. I tried alot throughout the whole movie but I just couldn't picture Jesse McCartney in him. Oh, what a dearie! And then there's the Chipettes. Gosh~ What a ridicule! A very wrong name, especially for these girls! Haha. That is if you know what I mean. *winks*

Signing off, lemme say this one more time...

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010~!
