Romantic 'Be With You'.

Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu. Now this is what I call best romance movie, like, ever!
[Note: Yes, it is better than 'The Notebook'. 'P.S. I Love You' is not included yet though.]

Here's a simple plot I picked up from some sources for your reading pleasure. I did kinda edited it a little.

Mio's death left her husband Aio Takumi and 6-years-old son Aio Yuji fending for themselves. Taku occasionally suffers fainting spells, especially in the crowded places. Taku feared and has the regrets that his health may have hindered Mio's happiness. Yuji, on the other hand, overheard his relatives speculating that his delivery had compromised Mio's health since then. He blamed himself for his mother's death. Taku tells Yuji that Mio had left for the 'Akaibo Star' and will return when the rainy season starts, and he himself believed the story to be true. Apparently, Mio had promised them this. So, life during that one year was more or less based on the hope that they will see Mio again. When the rain started to pour, Yuji brought his father to the special old shack, where Mio and him used to play in. He was to find the time capsule they both hid, without the knowledge of Taku. Instead of finding the time capsule, they found a woman bearing an uncanny resemblance of Mio. Sadly, she has no recollection of who she is or why she is out there in the woods alone and lost. Family resumes from where they were left off, and they cherished every moment they had together in that six weeks. Taku recounts a tale of years of missed chances since high school until she encouraged their marriage years later. The time together was short-lived when the sun shines again, as it was time for Mio to go away once more. But that wasn't after Yuji found the time capsule and what's in it. A diary.

Not only were the plot beautifully written, the castings were made so perfectly that every dialogue and emotion were portrayed oh-so-beautifully. Could I ever find a better word to describe that?!!
At first I really thought the father, Taku, looked retarded and was supposed to be one. =p That's where the son's role comes in, to take care of the father upon his mother's death.
Boy, is he a real cute fella!! Seriously, watching him in the movie, one would just want to reach out for him.

There are a few parts of the story which I really, really enjoyed watching. There's this one unforgettable scene when Yuji hung up a teru-teru bozu outside his classroom, wishing for rain to come soon. Then there's the scene when the family would stroll in the woods together hand-in-hand. Then there's the part when Taku tells Mio of their love story, his version of it of course. And then comes my most favourite part.

Ahhhh!! The best part of it all is surely, definitely, absolutely, unquestionably the ending part. The part when Taku reads Mio's diary.
What amazed me was not about the miracle. What blew me off was certainly not about the impossibility of anything like that to happen in real life.
But really it's simply about the different versions of a love story. The Taku version and the Mio version. It's about how chances go by so easily if it is not grabbed at that very instance. It's about how beautiful a sacrifice would seem to be in the name of love. Oh, I could be speechless.

And I really should stop here. Or else, I could end up telling you every little part of the story already!
For a better spoiler, you might wanna read this and this.

Alright, I shall find time to watch this drama again, I wouldn't mind watching it for the ten-thousandth time around. Wanna join? :P

Earth Hour!

Switch off all your lights!!!

No, wait. Lemme rephrase on that.

Switch off all your non-essential lights!!!

Yes, that's more like it. *winks*

Rest well, Mother Earth. :)

I voted for Earth, how about you?

Surprise Luncheon.

Ah, what a pleasant pleasant surprise. Just yesterday we were scratching our poor little heads thinking of how to write a good message for his birthday. We wanted to make it special. We want to reminisce on the good ol' times through doing so. We want it to be meaningful. =)

When she said he weren't coming on Friday, I thought it may be a good idea afterall. I'm sorry, but this whole midterm-tests-mania thingy is really getting its toll on me. But then, I also wished he'd come. I missed those times we just talked and laughed. Life was nothing but a breeze.

But hey! He came anyway! On a non-suspicious Saturday morning. It was absolutely a surprise for me. Considering the fact that I was woken up only by her voice saying, "Guess who's here!". Omigosh. I thought she was just joking when she answered her own question. Haha. And naturally, I kinda got back to sleep larh. But that girl had to forget where she left her keys. [Padahal it was right there hanging on her notice board!] Haha.

He gave us a goddamn good excuse for skipping studies a lil while alright, but we know well it's gonna haunt us real soon. But well, who cares at this moment. I'm just glad that we get to do what we did today. Lunch was superb and filling! Loved those small laughs especially. Thank you for coming over.
And yes, God, good times fly by quickly.

Happy Birthday, Shad! In advance for now, that is. *winks*

Oh my, look at how much we've changed over time. And at how little photos we have together. It's a real sad thing we lost most of our photos from Alpha year too.

Certainly hope to hang out with you guys again! Make sure the time come again soon. Cheers!

Adorable Wanted!

O-H-M-Y-G-O-D!!! I just read an email from my sister, and I so want to share this.
These baby pandas are so adorable that I really wish that I have one at home. What a pet he/she will be. Forget all the soft toys. Or anything at all~

I wish I could share all 21 photos here. But, lemme just share some of my favorites.

Just hanging around. ;)

Will you all please just look at that cutie-roley-poley's fur?

I'm not too sure if he got stuck or what.

It's either breakdance or yoga.

Ah, one tired little panda after doing all those stunts.

Here they are bowing to that ONE who could break not his bones. :)

My personal favorite. A guilty little panda. Hahahaha!

Next... He shall be sent to detention~~

Omigosh~ All these expressions of the cutie ones just made me did what this next cute little panda does.
LMFAOL~!

I just love pandas. Who could have not? I just don't understand how could people want to hurt them. I hate it when I read news about how humans could kill and re-use all parts of an animal like this when they couldn't even recycle well of their own waste. Daym!

Curious Clouds.

Okay, here's my obsession about clouds once again. Haha. Well, I was bored being in the car for almost half a day from KL back to my oh-so-wonderful hometown, Penang!! Hehe. I just wished that Penang could be like less than an hour drive away. Two hours top! Well, enough of wishing. Let's share some views on some cloud I see on the way home. ^o^

This one in the middle, it kinda looks like a cloud out of place. The only one round-round. Very, very cute though. Trust me when I say it is bulat~

I admit I did watch a little more than I should of Dragonball the cartoon. It was The Beginning of Dragonball, and in one of its last few episodes, Oolong the pig transformed into a so-called bat. Well, this cloud just reminded me of the exact that! A pig flying with wings. Hahahaha~ Blame me not. *winks*

This one. Typical. I don't know why but almost everytime I look up, the first thing I'd see on those clouds are Casper and his three uncles. Sometimes, with a bunch of other types of those sorta things. Hehe~~

This looks like those angel babies drawn, and kinda widely marketed in forms of posters and china dolls. Argh, it's so hard to explain. I'll try to find a picture of it soon. :)

Ahhhh~ I just love clouds! ^o^
Seriously, people, can you guys see what I see? Hehe. Let your imagination run wild and lemme know if you see something more different than what I do. *winks*

Now, here's something I will look forward to on every trip. I called it the 'Snoopy Island'. Haha. You can't deny it does resembles the shape of Snoopy sleeping on top of his kennel. ;)

Wisely In Pain.

I'm having a terrible, terrible sorethroat right at the moment. I have never been so freaked out by anything like this before. But seriously this time, I'm out of my own skin.

I finished my Semicond test this morning and after classes I came back and took a little cat-nap. We were supposed to have gone for a jog later in the evening. Sadly, upon waking up, I felt like I'm dying or some sort. [Okay dying is probably too big a word.] But seriously the soreness is so well spread out through the whole body. Still the worst is in the throat.

How bad is it? It is this bad.
Usually I would avoid seeking for a doctor for any small matters like a sorethroat, fever or even flu. Or at least I would drag and drag until I finally recover, until there is no more reason for me to seek one. I just don't like going to the doctor's.
This time around, I'm suggesting it myself to visit a doctor, ANY doctor at all. And it must be done ASAP.
It IS that bad! Sigh~ God, save me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Updated 19th March.

Just as suspected. Doctor said it is caused by my dumb wisdom-tooth. Not so wise afterall huh. I got some infection in the throat and the pain is more to the both sides of the ear rather than in the throat. Can it get any weirder?
Bottomline, it hurts whenever I try to swallow anything. I'm pretty bummed up wondering why all of a sudden I'm having so much of saliva! Damn! All the more swallowing to be done.
Worse of it all, I had a terrible fever and it freaked him out. =p

Went for my appointment at the dentist this morning, supposedly for MOS. But the dentist said I'm not pretty well in a condition to do the extraction as it might cause further infection. Situation may just get worse.
I'm actually a lil relieved hearing her said that. I'm just scared having to do the operation again. Still it had to be done.
The dentist said my throat infection is not caused by the wisdom tooth. My throat's all red, but just not caused by the wisdom tooth.
So, now the question is, who to trust? =p

Mathematics Crazy

This is the day when all pure mathematicians and maths-lovers would go all gaga about. I've actually not much thought about it until I saw this online. First of all, who would have? Second of all, I guess I'm just not that much of a Maths-nerd, am I? Pffffttt~

Well, I've heard about dates that if you read it backwards, it'll still be the same 'date'. I've heard about dates that are a repetitive number of the year. But never once have I heard about this.
Then again, it's pretty cool still right? To have a square root day? Haha. Check this website out for more info.

Today is 03-03-09! The SQUARE ROOT DAY!

Rejoice, my friend. And see if something as 'cool' as that would happen to you. Lemme know if it did kayz? Haha.

Ah~ It would have been more accurate though if it isn't the 2009. Hah! I wonder when WAS that!

Backpacking In KL Town.

Would you believe it that I've never been to places like Dataran Merdeka, Central Market, etc in all my countless times to KL?! Well, it ain't that unbelievable as I know many of you have yet to be there before. *bluek*

I came up with the idea of backpacking, he came up with the idea of eating while doing it. True to say, what fun would it be if we can't have good food along the way. What more we might be out of destinations, not knowing where to go next. So food-hunt is always the main motivation. *winks*

Leaving Cyberjaya at around 9am, we took the usual public transportation methods to reach to Petaling Street.

[Interchange from ERL to Starline LRT.]

First up, Chinatown, Petaling Street. The moment I step into the town, I so must have the long-craved-for "muar chee"! Comes in variety flavours. Original, Ribena, mango, lychee, pandan, sesame. [I think that's all.]
We had porridge for breakfast. We almost missed out on the famous fish dish, but we managed to order it after the waiter served us with the wrong food. Of course not forgetting, along with porridge a must-have is always "yao char koay"!

Since there's nothing much to hoo-haa about in the Chinatown anymore, we went off to Central Market. I never thought it's anything like this, inside and outside. For one, there are so many people lepak-ing around. And two, it's not anything like a market, a wet one that is. Haha!

Check this out. The best part in the whole of Central Market. The toilet. It's okay to have to pay for entry, but this too?! Cool!!

Hehe. After acting amazed all around Central Market, it's off to Dataran Merdeka. I couldn't stop myself from stopping along the way and taking more photos! Just something to remember by.
Actually I never thought that Dataran Merdeka would be in such a short distance away though. Before I know it, we're there already. We even saw some movie shooting there. [Well, I guess it's either setting up or rest time.] The stars don't look Malaysians though. More like Koreans.

Oh my, the view is so beautiful at the Dataran Merdeka. But the sun is almost too hot, though windy. But hey, like it is gonna stop us! *winks*

After that, lunchtime. Sadly, many shops that we wanted to go to are not open. Probably because it's a Sunday. Ended up eating in a coffee shop somewhere outside of the Chinatown. And guess what, the food recommended to be nice, turn out to be not that great larh afterall.

Right after that, we 'explored' the streets around Bukit Bintang. And we saw this in Jalan Alor. Oooo. Obscene. =p Haha.

What's next? Rain~ We had to run into Times Square for shelter, and to waste some time before our dinner is ready from that one particular shop. ;)

[What we had is what's on the right. I was just fooling around with the Starbuck's coffee. First time seeing those. =p]

After finishing the ice-cream and after the rain had stopped, we're off back to the Weng Heng coffee shop to eat the supposed great Penang 'char koay teow' in KL. Bah~! Cheated. Instead the 'hokkien char' is better there. Haha. Weird.

[Imagine us eating under THAT dirty thing!]

Then, it's time for some Ampang 'yong tau foo' just right opposite the road.
And you wanna know one thing that pissed me off bad? The attitude of the drinks vendor there is bad!! He actually shooed us from the sheltered seats if we don't order drinks from him. Hrmph! I refuse to give in! No way! *pffffft*

Well, I guess we're done for the day. Full and tired. I think I might have sunburn. Well, it ain't hurting yet but it's very much visibly red all over already. I'm a walking tomato. ^^

Overall for today's backpakcing trip, not bad! Most of the shops we wanna go to for makan-makan are either closed or finished selling. Pretty saddening. Guess we just needa get back another day. Since we would do it one more time, this time to set of destinations. Haha~~

There's not too much of walking needs to be done to get to almost everywhere from wherever we were. And it was so much fun too, practically acting like some tourists from elsewhere. I'm from Hong Kong apprently, and he's from Korea! Hahaha!
Looking forward to our next one. ^o^
